About Draco
A more personal approach to business energy.
Draco was founded by Cyrus to offer UK SMEs clearer and more personal support with business energy.
After moving from Hong Kong and working in the energy brokerage sector, he recognised that many Chinese-speaking business owners were underserved by an industry that often felt transactional and English-only.
“Business owners should understand what they are agreeing to and feel confident that someone is there to support them.”Read the Draco story

Common questions
Simple answers before you get started.
Key answers about reviews, information, costs and timing.
What does a business energy broker do?
A business energy broker helps businesses understand their energy contracts, obtain quotations and compare available supplier options. Draco also helps explain contract terms, renewal dates and the information suppliers require.
Does Draco charge a fee?
You do not pay Draco a separate consultancy fee. If you arrange a contract through us, Draco and/or our intermediary receive commission from the energy supplier. This commission may be included in the rates or commercial terms offered.
What information does Draco need?
We will normally ask for a recent bill and some basic business information. This may include your business name, supply address, current supplier, contract end date, annual usage, MPAN or MPRN, payment method and authorised contact details.
When should I review my contract?
We recommend checking your contract approximately six months before it ends. The exact renewal and termination window depends on your supplier and contract terms, so starting early gives you more time to understand the available options without being rushed.
